Play at St. Andrews

For any visitors who wish to play on the Old course at St Andrews the first thing to note is the handicap requirements. In order to be allowed on the Old Course there is a handicap requirement 24 for men and 36 for ladies. A valid certificate or handicap card must be presented to the Official Starter before play begins. Visitors should also note that the Old Course is closed on Sundays.
